Very similar to Private Craps, this Craps game is one of the most infamous Craps variations. It is the version that was made famous by gangsters and soldiers. It is the one that you see in the movies and on TV that has players gathered around a circle in the street, shooting the dice. These games are often run illegally, and are put on with a person bankrolling the game and players meeting at a set location to play. Because of this, the amount of money being won and lost in these games often far exceeds what you would find in a typical game of casino Craps. And, they are always played with cash.

This game is pretty similar to standard Bank Craps, though it offers a few different side bets. The table layout for this game will usually have nothing more than a Lose Line and a Win Line along with the box numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10. Though you can come across homemade tables that feature only the box numbers.

The shooter starts off by placing their bet in the center of the playing area. All other players have the option of covering all or part of the initial wager by placing their bets in the center as well. This is known as Fading. From here on, the game is played just as standard Bank Craps with the shooter throwing the Come Out Roll. If the shooter throws a Natural on the first toss, he takes all the money in the center of the table. If the shooter throws Craps on the first toss, all players take their wagers from the center and split the shooter's wager.

As mentioned, there are a number of side bets available in this game. It is known as betting with the book/house. This is where the house makes all of their money as the players must pay a 5% commission on all right bets. As you may have guessed, the odds in this Craps game a worse than those offered in standard Craps, but the infamy of this game is perhaps its biggest appeal.
