High Point Craps

High Point Craps is yet another Craps variation that offers its own unique twist on the traditional Craps game. Though it is a little different, it is still worth checking out if you are looking for a change of pace.

The differences between this Craps game and standard Bank Craps is mainly on the first throw. In High Point Craps, if the shooter throws an 11 or 12, it results in an automatic win. However, if the shooter throws a 2 or 3 on the first roll, it will be ignored. The shooter must roll again until a different number is thrown. This will establish the Point. Rather than having to throw the Point again before a 7, as is the case in standard Bank Craps, the shooter will have to throw a total that is higher than the Point to win. The payouts for these bets are even money.

Other than this, the game is played as a standard Craps game. As is the case with many Craps variations, the house edge is a bit higher than that offered in standard Craps. In fact, the edge in this game is sitting at approximately 2.35%. Nevertheless, it's still an extremely fun game to play.
