Crapsless Craps

This is a pretty popular Craps game that first appeared in real life casinos in the early 1980s. It is also sometimes called 'Ruse Craps' or 'Never Ever Craps', and is known as being the Craps game in which you cannot lose on the Come Out Roll with a Pass Bet. It is offered in a few casinos in Las Vegas and can be found online. It is pretty similar to standard Bank Craps, though, with a couple different twists, it offers a new and version of Craps online.

Crapless Craps is the same as standard Bank Craps in that the person throwing the dice is still known as the shooter, and the first throw of a new game is still called the Come Out Roll. However, in this Craps game, throwing a 2, 3, or 12 (Craps) or a Natural 11 will establish a Point. Throwing a 7 on the Come Out Roll wins. If the player throws any other number, the Point will be established. At this point in playing Craps, the player must then re-throw the Point before throwing a 7 or the game is lost.

This game also offers players the opportunity to put down Place Bets. You can bet on 2, 3, 11, or 12 being thrown before a 7. Free Odds are available on 2, 3, 11, and 12 if you bet on the Pass Line. The odds on this bet are: 6:1 on the 2 or 12, and 5:1 on a 3 or 11.

Though this Craps game offers the promise that players cannot lose on the Come Out Roll with a Pass Bet, the house edge is slightly higher than those offered in standard Bank Craps. In fact, the shooter is facing around a 5.38% edge. Nevertheless, it offers the players something different when it comes to playing Craps.
